Rugged Thadobati with a thin rim and rough muted color patina. Simple deep toned small bowl, not much activity and only 20 seconds of sustain. Still it starts strong and will work well in a sequence. Great leather rim play. The low bass tone comes up easily. The rim has the right amount of roughness so leather can spin the overtones easily with big volume. Don’t even think about trying to get sound out of the rim with wood. With overtones at F#5, F6, D7, G7.
