Small Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a solid persistent overtone #7646
7646 Small Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a solid persistent overtone #7646
1. Best S 3 Small Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Simple thin Thadobati with original patina. All the artwork is worn away. Soft gently pulsing bass under a solid persistent overtone. Good harmony and sustain, especially the high. Fine off the rim with the middle sized stick bass is soft and overtone powerful with leather. The thin rim makes for easy wood play on the overtones, either basic wood or tulipwood. The thin wand does a better job of singing higher notes. A fine value for a small third octave Thadobati bowl. With overtones at F5, F6, B6.
