Small Thadobati style with a wide open rim and a bit of a flare, an unusual shape. The bowl has original patina. Exceptionally well balanced complex soundscape with multiple active tones playing harmoniously together. Sustain is excellent, this small deep bowl has staying power. Even late in the sustain the complexity is evident. Very fine rim play. Fundamental with leather can get good volume. A mix of overtones with simple wood Ebony does a great job of singing out higher overtones. Rated exceptional for that peaceful and active overall soundscape. With overtones at G5, F#6, D7.
