Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with gentle fluttering very high tone

7991 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with gentle fluttering very high tone

1. Best L 8 Large High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: FP Ebony Wand

Heavy super thick straight sided Thadobati with clear artwork all around. While the bowl has seen a lot of wear the elaborate 7 inner circles are fully visible. A well preserved example of the old art. Wavy super fast fluttering very high frequency fundamental note, it is a gentle shallow flutter with the amplitude moving in a tight range. Good harmony and especially longevity for this style. Not so much of a stick bowl, the worn rim is so smooth wood doesn’t really stick Best sound comes from an ebony wand. Highest part of the soundscape will come across with the S9 mallet. With overtone at C#7.
