Small Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with museum level artistry #24286

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood

Fantastically crafted smaller Thadobati with elaborate artwork inside and out. Not only did the artist shape the solid sitting bowl gracefully but he let multiple textures outside separated by etching lines. The rim is thick wit a deeply etched center and the bowl has dark original patina.

Nice sounding bowl, focused at the beginning then the more active overtone emerges. Longevity is ok, volume comes down quickly but then persists..

Fine rim play, even with the sharp artwork leather grips easily for the fundamental note while wood works well for the overtone.. Museum level artistry and fine singing bowl sound.. With overtones at E6, D#7, E8.
