Large Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with bouncing low and steady high #3239

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather then wood

Simple large Thadobati, smooth to the touch with a bright color. I’ve had the bowl a dozen years, same bright color. The rim has a small crack, one that is for the most part not audible but to be extra cautions it best to avoid it and strike another part of the bowl.

Bouncing low, active yet subtle under a steady high. Good harmony excellent sustain.

Fine rim play, nice and smooth for both leather and wood. It is easy to lo play the bass with leather, for overtones best is wood. Marked down for the physical crack, great price for a large old 8 inch bowl.. With overtones at C#5, D6, G#6, D7.
