4763 Rare Super Deep 2nd Octave Antique Thadobati Large Singing Bowl #4763
1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Massive Yew Wand |
Thin larger Thadobati with the old artwork clear but worn . This bowl has original patina with some green copper haze. A rare second octave Thadobati, about as deep as the style goes. The bass pulses fairly slowly while the overtone is a steady presence. Ok harmony and sustain. Soft bass off the rim with leather. Same part of the stick can spin mournful overtones. A brighter sound comes from the massive wand. With overtone at F4.
