Simple thick Thadobati with a dark exterior that makes a pleasing contrast with a clean interior with light patina. The deep etching inside is quite worn. Bright soundscape, right on the B/C interoctave cusp. The tones are active up and down the scale, clear and strong. Harmony is premium and sustain excellent. Both bass with leather and overtone with wood have intense penetrating power that carries the calmness of the oscillation patterns. With an ebony wand and some effort you can tease out a bit of the second overtone. The bass, really. Is the outstanding note – right to the heart. With overtones at F#5, F6, C7, F#7.
