7679 Small Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with bass pulses #7679
1. Best S 5 Small Medium Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand then FP Kingwood Wand |
Thadobati with flared out walls and simple etching. The bowl has bright original patina. Active harmonious soundscape, the bass pulses while the overtone’s pulse sings. Late in the sustain a second overtone emerges briefly. Premium harmony, fair sustain. Rim play is nothing short of WOW!. Bass and overtone with simple wood are easy to bring to volume and unlike a mallet strike have excellent sustain. Then different wands spin higher notes with the kingwood purely going over 3000 Hz to the fourth level note. With overtones at B5, B6, F#7.
