Small Thin Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with multiple pulse pattern #7716
7716 Small Thin Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with multiple pulse pattern #7716
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by wood followed by FP Ebony Wand |
Rugged Thadobati with tall walls and muted color patina. Complex soundscape, multiple tones and multiple pulse patterns with fairly good harmony and sustain. This is a deep tone for the small size and the complexity spinning and pulsing the real draw for the bowl. Great all around rim play. The low bass tone comes up easily. The rim has the grip for smooth leather overtone paly. The rim has the right shape so wood can spin the overtones easily with big volume. For more pure highs try the ebony wand, also able to spin high volume. With overtones at G5, F#6, D7.
