Small extra thick very short bowl with super sharp etching and a colored black bottom. The bowl looks new but it is not modern. It has a few age spots. My trusted vendor who is very good at spotting bowls that are only 30 years old, assured me this one is much older, just well kept / un used. Penetrating high soundscape a loping and strong fundamental along with a solid intense overtone. Longevity is quite good for this type bowl in the range. The rim is sharp so play is basic, fundamental note with simple small wood. With overtones at A6, G7, D#8.
