It has a tiny superficial flake of metal inside, some crafting flaw as there is no evidence outside. Penetrating dual tone soundscape, a hollow harmonious mix of tones, solid and steady. Excellent sustain for a big Trapezoid, no doubt due to the heavy weight of the bowl. Very good rim sustain, the main tone plays out until the end. Impressive rim play. I had to continually tone it down so I did not blow out the mic. All the fundamental wood or leather.
