901 Rare Antique Ultabati Singing Bowl with exceptional sound

Rare Ultabati bowl with exceptional soundscape. This bowl was finely made with many hammermarks forming the shape. The exterior is burnished gold and the mirror interior sports unusual wavy inner circles – obviously made with care. The bowl features two high notes in exquisite harmony augmented by new highs as the sound plays out. There is a deep tone in there, very deep, 120 Hz A#2, but it is only accessible with the ringing stick. Its subtle presence is part of what makes the bowl special. The second sound clip gives a flavor of how long the bowl sustains with the ringing stick, first wood then leather. Not only does it sustain but it does so with unusual sonic coherence – very smooth.
