Large Thin Antique Ultabati Singing Bowl with very steady bass #940

1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Simple compact Ultabati with prominent hammermarks and a deep etched three character inscription. The bowl has a clean bright color and some nice interior etching. Very steady second octave bass with a pulsing overtone. Over the course of the sustain the bass increases in relative intensity so it is most of what you hear by the end. Good internal harmony. Easy rim play with a pure bass quite accessible with leather. Leather can also bring out a powerful wailing set of overtones – they can be played somewhat brighter with a higher level of pressure with a massive wand. With overtones at F4, E5.
