Large Adorned Antique Ultabati Singing Bowl with deep tone harmony #974

1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by wood

Large Ultabati with original hammermark patina. The bowl has faded etching inside and out.

Deep gently fluttering bass with a nicely matched overtone. Fine harmony and longevity. The bowl does, however, have a sonic flaw. It can be heard when striking the bowl firmly, coming right off the shaking rim. When struck softly and below the midline like in the recording the sound is pure.

Fine stick play, pure bass or mix with overtones. Either way it is smooth and quiet to volume with leather. When spinning the overtone you can hear a bit of the flaw. The second overtone, can be played with wood, somewhat of a challenge. Marked down for the sonic flaw, a great price for a big second octave bowl under 100 Hz. With overtones at C#4, C#5.
