Elaborately crafted Distinctive Antique Singing Bowl #9894

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather

Unusual elaborately crafted bowl with hammermarks, deep etching and original patina. The shape is mostly Manipuri, with the curve of an Ultabati added. A true work of art topped off by a short inscription. Thin warbling soundscape to start with, interesting complexity. As it continues throughout the sustain solid higher notes remain. The soundscape has an attractive quality to it, pulling you in for a deeper listen. The rim naturally goes to the deep tone, leather or wood. Simple and focused. A fine value for a rare super adorned bowl. With overtones at G#5, G#6. Great value for a large well crafted antique.
