Simple thin walled bowl, no etching evident. The bowl has a very heavy bottom, an important part of tis extraordinary resonance. Peaceful resonant bell like tone which starts with many tones and simplifies as it continues through the good sustain. Premium harmony, very coherent. Smooth and easy overtone with leather, more activity than you might hear with a mallet strike. A tiny wand plays the overtone complexity. With overtones at B4, G#5, D#6.
