Thick low wide bellied bowl from India. It is large and heavy. It has faint etching, inside and out with rich original patina. Very smooth to the touch. Unusual and unique. Resonant cowbell like sound with activity above and below. Sustain is ok, good for this unusual bowl. The smooth rim makes for fine wood play. Very good rim sustain, you can relax into the fluttering tone, sweet and pure. With overtones at G5, F6.
