Beautifully shaped mid sized bowl where the artist has etched the adornment in concert with the changes in shape. The wide rim has a very unusual style of etching. Inside is a single tiny circle with a central dot, sort of an offset for the rest of the elaborate etching. An absolute showpiece. Penetrating high fundamental tone with a singing overtone, Premium harmony and fair to good longevity. The stronger fundamental is the last note at the end. Simple wood is all you need to spin the fundamental tone with its short lived sustain. A beautiful one of a kind bowl at the high end of the range of tones for old bowls. With overtones at F#6, E7.
