Incredibly thick low wide bellied bowl from India, large and heavy. It has clear circles outside below the rim and scroll design on the rim. An old bowl recently polished the interior design is worn away. Super powerful sound, all that metal vibrating jumps off the bowl. I’ve rarely seen such a responsive bowl. Excellent sustain, not only does the bowl throw off volume but it maintains it over time. The soundscape itself is complex and as unusual as the shape. Rim play is also super intense, as you get the bowl going the volume picks up to as loud as you could want it. Rated exceptional for the sheer power. With overtone at A5.
