Rare tiny finger bowl, an old piece that is very low in stature with consistent original patina. The bowl has some thickness and it is gathered just in the right place for sound at the double size rim. Sometimes the finest things come in small packages. This bowl has tremendous sonics, premium harmony, much better than average sustain and the ability to generate a lot of sound. Lots of resonance with multiple overtones. Incredible intensity off the rim. This tiny bowl will fill the room. Overtone wit a small basic wand and second overtone near 3 KHz with the kingwood wand. I kept saying to myself how can I call such a small bowl exceptional but by the time I got done recording I had to admit that it was. With overtones at G6, F7, C#8.
