Large heavy gracefully shaped bowl with a narrow waist and rounded bottom. Once extensively etched it now has just a few features left after long hand cleaning. One remaining feature is an old inscription. Multi-colored patina and a wide smooth rim compete the unique look. Peaceful yet powerful bowl, The tones are exceptionally steady lead by the third octave bass. The bowl also has complexity which I would recommend a higher tone mallet to hear with along with the proper mallet for bass. Premium harmony good sustain. Excellent rim play easy and pure bass with leather, overtone with leather as well. Excellent overtone rim longevity. Vermillion wand gives a hint of the higher tone complexity. Rated exceptional for both the steady soundscape and rare artwork. With overtone at A#4.
