Very large flat bottomed pan shaped bowl with clear etching and a wide rim. The bowl has dark patina and the unusual combination of thick walls and a standard thickness wide flat bottom. Resonant soundscape, more like a brass bell on a ship than a singing bowl which is one reason I liked it. Multiple frequencies are clearly discernable, As the sustain continues the soundscape simplifies to a solid over tone and pulsing bass. Very well matched tones, preumuim harmony. Fine rim play with leather, pure bass or first overtone, the overtone having the better rim sustain. With overtones at A#4, A5, E6.
