Gracefully shaped and once elaborately etched singing bowl in a shape reminiscent of an anvil. The bowl has a tight waist to offset a wide bottom and top. The bowl is incredibly thick with an outer facing rim etched with lines. It has seen a lot of wear over the years, still quite a bit of artistry can still be seen. The bowl has original patina. An incredible rare piece of singing bowl artistry.
Super high 6th octave main tone, at the very upper range for singing bowls. The tone is very pure, just a bit of overtone if you hit it just right.
This is not a bowl to spin around the rim, too smooth, too pointed an edge. A rare super thick over 1100 HzC#6 antique singing bowl. With overtone at G#7.
