Antique “Buddha” Singing Bowl with resonant overtones Premium harmony #77059

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood

Large very old “Buddha” bowl with the signature wide belly shape. The bowl has a very broad inner facing rim which is a difficult to craft feature antiques have that is often missing from new bowls marketed as Buddha. This bowl has a bit of faded etching and an interesting crisscross pattern inside.

Gently fluttering fundamental tone initially balanced by a resonant overtone set. Premium harmony, sweet soundscape. OK longevity. This style bowl is very stable for mallet play due to its flat bottom and weight distribution.

Simple stick play, just wood for the main tone. The bowl has seen so much use it is too smooth for leather.. With overtones at D#6, D7. Perfect A above Middle C – 440 Hz.
