Large Antique Singing Bowl with super low 1st octave tone at 57 Hz #77063

1. Best XL 1 Extra Large Very Low Mallet single then multiple taps.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather

Unique large bowl with a flat bottom and wide out shape. This thin bowl has just a bit of etching inside under the rim.

Amazing super low tone singing bowl, one of the lowest I have ever come across at 57Hz. Premium Harmony, sort of amazing in such a low tone soundscape. Since the soundscape is overtone centric from a human auditory response curve perspective it is quite hard to record. By that bit of audiologist jargon I mean very low tones are heard as softer even when they have more power. At the end of recording 1 there is a section with multiple strikes, the third one gives the best rendition of the low I could capture. Regardless of hearing, however you can feel the unusual bass. When played with a higher tone mallet this bowl sings wild overtones.

A big leather stick will spin the overtone mixed with the deep bass, The thin rim makes for smooth and clean contact. Rated exceptional for the record low tone. Be sure to buy the lowest tone mallet, the deep tone is subtle.. With overtones at D#3, D#4, C5.
