Unusual Large bowl featuring a broad rim elaborately etched with three swimming fish. Unlike most examples of this motif the fish are all alone, not chasing a leaf. This thick and very heavy bowl has a deliberately rugged exterior featuring a wide belly. The inside is mostly smooth. Patina is a dark bronze outside and more of a bronze inside.
Uplifting soundscape with a strong sweet high, nice and solid, and a soft woo-woo bass. Over time the overtone becomes the only tone. Premium harmony, fair sustain.
It takes the tap and spin method to play the rim with leather. The recording starts with the high tone tap. Still leather spins a nice pure bass. Wood is rough and unsatisfying. With overtones at B5, G#6.
