Large XX thick anvil shaped singing bowl with gently pulsing soundscape #77071

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet followed by L 8 single taps.

Gracefully shaped and elaborately etched singing bowl in a shape reminiscent of an anvil. The bowl has a tight waist to offset a wide bottom and top. The bowl is double extra thick weighing 3 1/2 Lbs. and graced by an outer facing rim etched with deeply etched lines. The bowl has original patina. An incredible rare piece of singing bowl artistry.

Peaceful gently pulsing soundscape, just a bit of initial overtone before it settles into the main note. Premium harmony, not so much sustain. The bowl plays similarly regardless of mallet which is a measure of the purity of its main tone.

This is not a bowl to spin around the rim, too smooth, too pointed an edge.. With overtone at G6.
