Very Large Antique Singing Bowl with church bell sound over subtle bass #77087

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather

Large low wide bowl with etching reminiscent of a ceremonial flat plate lingam. This 10 inch bowl has original patina.

Fundamentally a low tone bowl, the most prominent if you let it sing long enough it goes to that frequency, I’ve recorded this one with a high tone mallet. Reason is the lively, joyous church bell sound that comes from the overtones. Unique resonant soundscape.

A big ringing stick can power this bowl to tremendous volume, the 3 1/2 Lbs. of metal are well deployed. A one of a kind old singing bowl with a fantastic soundscape.. With overtones at A#4, G#5, D#6, C#7.
