Large Adorned Antique Singing Bowl with complex mix of fast and slow #77092

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood

Low wide bowl, a bit on the thick side, with a clearly etched flower design. I am not sure this is an antique, part of the design might be mechanical while the hammering and punch circles were done by hand.

Super intense soundscape with a mix of fast and very slow periodicity. Tones emerge and fade back, quite the listening experience. The bowl puts out more than a dozen frequencies. By the end of the very good sustain the soundscape simplifies to that active main tone.

OK rim play, or more accurately side play. Spinning the bulge in the bowl gives you clear bass and overtone. Fantastic premium quality soundscape which is why I bought it. Thing is I am in the business of selling antiques and this may not be one so the price is marked down. . With overtones at D#5, C#6, A6, D7.
