Large X Thick Distinctive Antique Singing Bowl that is a work of art #77112

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather

Unusual elaborately crafted bowl with hammermarks, deep etching and original patina. The bowl is thick and heavy, shape is mostly Manipuri, with the curve of an Ultabati added. A true work of art.

Fluttering high tone soundscape where the evenly oscillating overtone drops out fairly quickly leaving the single fundamental note. Longevity is just fair for this super thick bowl.

To play the rim you’ll want the largest ringing stick so you can lean into it. then the fundamental plays fluttering along. A rare style, quite substantial with an unusual singing bowl soundscape.. With overtones at A#5, A6, F#7.
