Big Unique Antique Singing Bowl with deep low flutter and mild overtone
9861 Big Unique Antique Singing Bowl with deep low flutter and mild overtone
Unique very large and heavy singing bowl, looks like a short Ultabati with its gracefully flared out top. It has the internal hand etching of a thick old Jambati. Patina is gorgeous, a mix of hammermarks and consistent aged bronze. Deep low third octave flutter is the most powerful sound matched with a consistent mild set of overtones. Very good longevity and premium harmony. The way to play the rim of this bowl is with big leather, it comes up strongly, an almost ghostly mix of highs. This is a unique old bowl with a fine soundscape. With overtones at A#4, , .
