Big straight walled bowl with a heavy bottom and an elaborate mandala of interior etching. The etching is accentuated by creamy original patina. Wonderful sounding bowl, a unique soundscape of extraordinary peacefulness. It has a sound reminiscent of a bell in the wilderness, something to calm your heart. To give more of this flavor the recording includes a section of multiple long strikes. The rim is all overtone, nice and smooth with leather but not representative of the exceptional sonorous deep fundamental tone. With overtones at A4, F#5, A#5.
