Rare heavy flat bowl with straight sides.It is large and heavy. The bowl has a clear extensive hand applied punch circle pattern inside. It was long ago polished and now sports a golden patina on top of the formerly brilliantly glowing metal. Incredibly resonant and harmonious soundscape, just so much to engage with. It sounds like a symphony or even a group of bells not just one as there are over a dozen tones to be heard. At different points in the very good and evolving sustain different notes come to prominence then fade back. Exceptional and very different from most singing bowl sounds. Rim play is all wood, simple stick or specialized wand. Overtones, of course. A one of a kind bowl, spectacular art and amazing soundscape – exceptional. With overtones at F#4, F#5.
