Low wide bowl, no evidence of etching, Instead it is encrusted with colorful dark patina. Unique peaceful bell like soundscape. It has a calming effect based on a resonant deep main tone. Not much longevity, however the recording includes a section of multiple long strikes to provide a feel for that kind of play. Rim play with leather is good. It takes a few spins but either the bass or overtone can be played. Great value on a large, deep old bowl. With overtones at A4, G#5, D6.
