Exceptional Thick Antique Ultabati Singing Bowl with solid low tone #958

958 Exceptional Thick Antique Ultabati Singing Bowl with solid low tone #958

1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by wood

Gracefully shaped Ultabati style, nicely preserved with a textured black exterior and bright interior. The artwork is complex for the style and easy to see. Very solid soundscape, exceptionally so, where the oscillations within each note seem to disappear. If you are looking for a deep tone focused bowl this is a good one. Harmony is premium and longevity excellent for an Ultabati. This is, no doubt, due to the thickness. Good stick play, the deep bass can be feathered off the rim, though the bowls wants to go to overtone. A stronger technique with leather brings out overtones. As a bonus the rim is stiff enough to take wood for the second overtone. Rated exceptional for the solidity of the tones, sustain and rim high overtones add to the overall quality. With overtones at D4, C#5.
