Nesting High Thadobati 8 Bowl Chakra Set

One of the most common frameworks for chakra sets is to have whole notes, one for each chakra. This special 8 bowl Chakra set consists of 7 bowls, each whole note in the 4th octave, plus the C in the next octave.  The sequence is C D E F G A B C.

This set was specially assembled for easy transportation, nesting into two groups which can easily stack on top of each other. In order to do this it includes some larger bowls over 5 inches.

All the antique singing bowls in this chakra set have been selected for superior internal harmony.  Care has been taken to make sure the tones go well together. This is not as simple as picking notes because notes alone do not guarantee a smooth flow of sound up and down. Overtones and timbre play an important part.  These carefully selected antique singing bowls all blend together for a wonderful total sound.

About the recordings:
The first sound clip is 8  bowls struck once with a Best Singing Bowls precision small medium mallet (S 7).  With this mallet you hear a somewhat bright rendition of the soundscape for the bowls. The second recording is each pair of bowls played with different mallets C4 & D4 with S3 mallet, E & F with S5 G & A with S7 and B4 & A5 with S9.  This gives you a feel for the different moods and range the bowls  are capable of. The four mallet set is $125.

Certificates for all bowls ordered with the set cost $125. Each bowl needs to be photographed in addition to the physical examination.
