Thadobati cover a wide range of tones, 3 ½ octaves, with the highest frequencies topping 1000 Hz. They range in size from 3 to 8 inches across. Small thinner ones can weigh under half a pound while the largest ones can top 3 Lbs. the oldest examples can be extremely thick.
