Deep Mirror Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with simple high sound #4069

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Super thick extra large Thadobati with extensive artwork and a rare broad inner facing rim. The bowl is a burnished gold, polished long ago to a deep mirror finish and now displaying a new level of patina. The arduously hand etched artwork is clear and the broad rim triple etched. Great looking bowl. Extremely simple high pitched soundscape at the upper limit for this size Thadobati. Harmony is premium, there are really just three tones and the fundamental is so strong it is most of what you can hear. the strong woo-woo pulse is a constant throughout the good sustain. There is really just one way to play the rim of this bowl, a substantial leather stick. The recording has one spin then a bit of playing around with the leather stick. At 8 inches and 1.5 KG (3 1/2 Lbs.) this is about as massive as these bowls get. With overtones at D6, C7.
