Manipuri
Manipuri were the first style of singing bowl to be popularized. They have low sloped walls and can come with flat or slightly rounded bottoms. Old thick examples can have extremely elaborate artwork. The smallest ones are 4 inches with bowls over 10 inches extremely rare. Their fundamental tones are mostly in the third and 4th octaves with rare smaller thick ones ringing into the 5th. By virtue of their low walls they tend to be light from a couple of ounces to 2 Lbs.
