Thick and very heavy Thadobati with clear art and original patina. Harmonious and very high primary tone with a well balanced and complex set of overtones. This bowl is incredibly responsive, just a light tap needed to bring up its clear tones. There is lots of complexity and activity in the soundscape. Sustain is excellent, it is a mystery why some of these thick small bowls hold the sound so well. This one is at the top end of that spectrum. Not much of a bowl for rim play due to a sharp edge, its native power still manages to come through. Rated exceptional for responsiveness, harmony and sustain. With overtones at B6, A#7.
