Adorned Rare Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a super high pitch #7009

1. Best S 9 Small Very High Mallet followed by L 8 single tap.

Thick very small Thadobati with a rare broad inner facing rim. The bowl has unusual and elaborate etching, a one of a kind very old piece. Super high pitched bowl, very rare to see this style and size in the 6th octave above 1000 Hz. Not much longevity, this is a burst of sound, tone and overtone then a fade. With a heavier high tone mallet longevity is better and some flutter is introduced (second half recording 1). It is possible to play the high main tone with lots of intensity with a soft yew wood wand. Takes a bit of spinning as the bowl incrementally builds volume. You keep spinning and it could overwhelm! A beautiful bowl with a rare main frequency,. With overtone at F#7.
