Extra Thick Thadobati Singing Bowl with solid super high main tone #7059

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood

Rounded extra thick very old Thadobati, with all the artwork worn away. The wide inner facing rim, originally broader has visible etched lines. The bowl has a smooth feel like molded putty and creamy original patina. Sweet mostly solid super high soundscape with a matching overtone playing early in the good sustain. The main tone has a bit of a split in it, 812 and 832 Hz which adds gentle reverb and sonic depth. Nice effect. Played with the S9 mallet that pleasant effect is even more pronounced. Not much of a rim spinner due to the level of hand wear. Best sound – which is not much – comes from the rough purplewood wand which can grab the side a bit. This heavy smooth small bowl is a rare and amazing piece. With overtone at D7.
