Exceptional Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a lasting overtone #7510

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood

Thick very worn circle design Thadobati with faint vestiges of a crushed rim. This old bowl is smooth to the touch from hand wear. Fluttering fundamental is your first impression then the 1632 Hz overtone moves to the center of awareness to finally becoming the only note you hear. This is the less common pattern in this style of bowls, quite pleasing if you are looking to flow into a super high tone. Sustain is good for the style. While basic wood is fine off the smooth rim for the fundamental if you’re looking to hear the overtone you’ll need an ebony or kingwood wand. The overtone has that wow factor. Rated exceptional not for harmony but for the strength and availability of the overtone. With overtones at G#6, F#7.
