Very Large Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with clear spectacular artwork #1671

1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather then wood

Large and very heavy extra thick Jambati with clear extensive artwork. The bowl has a wide out shape and very nice dark original patina. The wide inner facing rim has some etching. There is quite a bit of variance in the width of the rim, an indicator of great age. The bowl has a wide out overall shape and broad bottom, very stable for mallet play.

Simple focused soundscape, quite even as it starts out. Later in the fair sustain you can hear a tiny bit of activity.

Spinning the rim takes a bit of effort. Bass comes up nicely, overtone is rough with wood but once you lift off you’re treated to some long lasting overtones. Great price for a very heavy bowl with spectacular artwork. . With overtone at A#4.
