Thick and heavy Ultabati with prominent hammermarks and very dark patina. The small amount of etching is clear and sharp.
Gently pulsing deep second octave main tone with a subtle more rapidly pulsing overtone. Very good harmony, excellent sustain.
Stick play is all about the bass. The hammermarks extend into the rim so getting up to volume can be a bit rough. With overtone at E4.
