Classical Jambati on the thick side and smooth to the touch. It has etching inside and out and a wide rim. The color is bright and hammermarks subtle. Long very slow bass, by far the strongest note blends with a rapid but gentle overtone. Premium harmony and very good sustain. The length of the pulse in the bass, about 3 seconds is extraordinary. . Fine rim play, strong and easy pure bass with leather. Overtones are difficult to tease out with leather. With wood, especially the massive yew wand just great, clear and easy overtones. With overtones at F4, F5, C#6.
