Large Thick Antique Jambati Lingam Singing Bowl with great art #1997

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.

Extremely Large ceremonial Jambati Lingam bowl. This ancient piece has spectacular etching and colorful patina. The lingam is worn as is the artwork but the etching so deep it is all still clearly visible. The broad rim is a marvel of craftsmanship.

Smoothly rolling fundamental tone with a well matched next high that augments at the beginning. Very good sustain, Rim play is simple and straightforward. All that is needed is the big simple stick, leather side. It comes up to volume easily and smoothly then the super long sustain takes over. Spectacular rare old bowl. With overtones at A5, G#6. Solfeggio – 285 Hz main tone..
