Large Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with earthy and metallic tones #3158

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand

Thick Thadobati with worn artwork and bright patina. The bowl has very tall walls and some bright copper patches inside. Powerful and bright starting tones, an earthy and metallic feel slowly transforms as the textured high tones become quiet and the slow pulsing middle C remains. Longevity and harmony are good. Super powerful off the rim, amazing intensity with leather with much better longevity than with a mallet. The yew wand can bring out higher notes as can the wood end of the leather wand. One of those nice bowls I squirreled away a half a dozen years ago, now up for sale. With overtones at F#5, F#6, G7, C5. Middle C – A432 Scale – 256 Hz.
