XX Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with softly playing notes. #4062

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather

Super large extra thick Thadobati a great example of this most ancient style of singing bowl. At 8 inches and 3.7 Lbs this is very near the top end for this old Thadobati style. The color is bright outside with a storm of reds greens and golds inside. The broad rim has clear deep lines. Pure and balanced soundscape with softly pulsing and fluttering notes. The weight of the bowl, 3.7 Lbs, puts penetrating authority into the sound. Longevity is excellent, harmony premium. Both the main tones play to the end. Powerful off the rim, the bowl strongly tends to the primary tone, leather or wood so a simple leather stick is recommended. The recording is one spin with leather and you can feel the penetrating power of the single note. Rated exceptional as an XX thick bowl with great sonics and penetrating rim play. With overtones at C6, B6.
